1. Stats

1.1. What Stats are Used

Stats are determined by rolling 1d100, two series with ten rolls + an Appearance roll. All results under 20 are rerolled, except for Appearance. Stats are (further expression between ()'s): Constitution (CO), Agility (AG), Self-Discipline (SD), Memory (ME), Reasoning (RE), Strenght (ST), Quickness (QU), Presence (PR), Empathy (EM), Intuituion (IN) and Appearance (AP).

AP cannot be lowered from what was rolled, though it can be replaced by higher value.

Lowest value is allowed to reroll once. AP cannot be rerolled, even if it would be lowest value. Rerolling cannot lower rerolled value.

1.2. Potential Values

These are rolled from the table of CL (p. XX)

1.3. Bonuses From Stats

Table 1.1.: Bonuses From Stats

+-----+-----+ +-----+-----+ +-----+-----+ +-----+-----+
|Stat | +/- | |Stat | +/- | |Stat | +/- | |Stat | +/- |
+-----+-----+ +-----+-----+ +-----+-----+ +-----+-----+
|19-21|  -7 | |41-59|  0  | |81-83| + 7 | |  94 | +14 |
|22-24|  -6 | |60-63| +1  | |84-86| + 8 | |  95 | +15 |
|25-27|  -5 | |64-67| +2  | |87-89| + 9 | |  96 | +17 |
|28-30|  -4 | |68-71| +3  | |  90 | +10 | |  97 | +19 |
|31-32|  -3 | |72-74| +4  | |  91 | +11 | |  98 | +21 |
|33-36|  -2 | |75-77| +5  | |  92 | +12 | |  99 | +23 |
|37-40|  -1 | |78-80| +6  | |  93 | +13 | | 100 | +25 |
+-----+-----+ +-----+-----+ +----+------+ +-----+-----+

Additionally, stat value 101 gives a bonus of +30, and stat value 102 gives a bonus of +35. Thus, one point in stat increase after value 100 gives a bonus increase of +5. Maximum stat for PC's is 102.

1.4. Stat Gain Rolls

Stat Gain Rolls are just same that in CL, except with a roll 98 and 99 potential value increases one point (e.g. value 97 will increase to 98), but not above 102. With a roll 100 potential value increases two points, but never above 102.

Note: In order to increase temporal value, potential value must be at same level! Example: Pot. 95, Temp 95; roll is 100 -> New Temp is 97. Note that Potential value doesn't increase if the temporal value increases.

1.4 Concussion Hits

Concussion hits can be calculated through following formula :

Total Concussion Hits = 10 + (Bonus from stats CO, SD and CO)/3 + HP's
from following table:

Table 1.2.: Racial Body Development Points

Common Men are Dorwinrim, Dunlendings, Rural- and Urban Men;
High Men are Black Númenoreans, Corsairs and Dúnedain;
Mixed Men are Rural- and Urban Men;
Dark Tribes are Easterlings, Haradim and Variags;
Northmen are Éothraim and Woodmen;
Arctic Tribes are Lossoth;
Bear Tribes are Beijabar.

Example 1: Common man with total of 23 bonus from (CO+SD+CO)/3,
with 3 ranks in Body Development has total of 10 + 23 + 7*3 = 54 Hits.

Example 2: Silvan Elf with total of 9 bonus from (CO+SD+CO)/3, with 15 ranks in Body Development has total of 10 + 9 + 6*10 + 3*5 = 94 Hits.

1.6. Exhaustion Points

Exhaustion Points are calcultated through following formula:

Exhaustion points = 40 + Co stat bonus

Example: Kuittaa the Giant Killer has a 70 Co stat and a +5 Co stat bonus.
His exhaustion point total is 45.

1.7. Power Points

Power Points are calculated through following formula: LVL * Base PP (from Stat, table below) + points from PP Development (table below). 'Stat Bonus' means total bonus of the Stat (with racial and special modifiers).

Table 1.3.: Racial PP Development points and 1.4.: PP's from Stat Bonus

+------------------+-------+-------+-------+--------+ +-------+------+

Example 1: Kuittaa Lisää, Mighty and Fearless lvl 5 Magent (Semi
Spell User), whose stat bonus is 35, he has 3 ranks in PP developement and
no multiplier. He has then (5 x 4 + 3 x 7) = 41 Power Points. (He could
cast his own level spell 8 times).

(In old system (let's assume that he rolled in PP dev rolls 3 more PP's)
he would have ((5 x 4 + 3 x 7) x 1.35) = 55 PP's, and he could cast
his own level spell 11 times).

Example 2: Lvl 14 Sinda Mage, whose stat bonus is 20 and he has 13
ranks in PP developement and a x1.4 multiplier. He has then
(14 x 2.5 + 10 x 7 + 3 x 6) x 1.4 = 172 Power Points. (He could cast his
own level spell 12 times).

(In old system he would have ( 88.8 x 4 = 355 PP's, and cast spell 25
times).

Example 3: Lvl 1 Half-Elf Mystic, whose stat bonus is 10 and he has
2 ranks in PP developement. He has then
(1 x 1.7 + 2 x (13/2)) = 15 Power Points. (Spell goes 15 times)

(In old system he would have 5 PP's, and the spell would go 5
times).

Example 4: Lvl 6 Northman Mage, whose stat bonus is 25 and he has 7
ranks in PP developement, and a x1.2 Multiplier. He has then
(6 x 3 + 7 x 6) x 1.2 = 72 Power Points. (Spell goes 12 times)

(In old system he would have (48.75 x 2 = 98 PP's, and spell would go 16
times).

Example 5: Lvl 38 High Man Mentalist, whose stat bonus is 35 and he
has 40 ranks in PP developement, and a x1.5 Multiplier. He has then
(38 x 4 + 10 x 7 + 10 x 6 + 10 x 5 + 10 x 4) x 1.5 = 558 Power Points.
(Spell goes 14 times)

(In old system he would have (367.2 x 5 = 1836 PP's, and spell would go 48
times!!! If he would be Evil Cleric, he could cast Dark Absolution 61
times INSTANTLY, or 91 times Absolution...)

It is obvious that in the new system spell casting ability is much more
balanced than in the old one. As it can be seen, in the new system spell
casting times varies between 8...15, when in the old one they go between
5...48.

Logics are that multipliers don't increase their users inner reserves.
Instead they make the spell casting more easier, thus demanding less from
the caster himself.

1.8. Development Points

DP's are given from every stat except from AP.

Table 1.5.: DP's from Stat Bonus

+-------+------+-+-------+------+ +-------+------+ +-------+------+

'Stat Bonus' means bonus from the Stat, not with racial or special modifiers. (Thus, some bonuses are nonachievable, but they are presented as complement in the table.)
